All NYS Medicaid Members are eligible to receive doula services during pregnancy and up to 12 months after

• Doulas provide physical, emotional, educational, and non-medical support for pregnant and postpartum persons before, during, and after childbirth or end of pregnancy.

• Medicaid Members can receive up to eight perinatal visits before or after the birth and continuous support during labor and birth.
